General

Is BookBidder safe to connect to my Amazon Ads account?

Yes. BookBidder uses Amazon's official Login with Amazon (LWA) OAuth authorization. We never see or store your Amazon password. You can revoke access at any time from your Amazon account settings.

Does BookBidder work with Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display campaigns?

Currently, BookBidder focuses on Sponsored Products campaigns, the campaign type most KDP authors rely on. Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display support may be added in the future.

Which Amazon marketplaces does BookBidder support?

BookBidder supports all Amazon Ads marketplaces including US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Australia, Japan, and more. If you advertise in multiple marketplaces, BookBidder imports all of them automatically.

What are SP Global campaigns and why are they read-only?

SP Global campaigns are Sponsored Products campaigns that Amazon creates and manages automatically. Because Amazon controls their targeting and bidding, they can't be modified through the Ads API. BookBidder shows them with a globe icon so you can track their performance, but Smart Rules and manual edits don't apply to them.

Smart Rules

Will Smart Rules make changes I can't undo?

Smart Rules pause keywords or add negative keywords. Paused keywords can be reactivated in Amazon's Ads console at any time, and negative keywords can be removed. These actions are reversible.

How often do Smart Rules run?

Smart Rules run on a regular automated schedule. You can see the last run time and actions taken in your Smart Rules log within the app.

Can I apply Smart Rules to only specific campaigns?

Yes. When creating a rule, you define its scope: all campaigns, specific campaigns, or specific ad groups. Rules never touch campaigns outside their scope.

Data and Syncing

How long does the initial data sync take?

Typically 1-4 hours depending on the number of campaigns in your account. BookBidder imports the last 30 days of performance data during initial setup.

How often does BookBidder sync my data?

After the initial import, BookBidder syncs your campaign data automatically on a regular schedule. Your dashboard reflects recent data without any manual action.

My data looks incomplete or missing. What should I do?

First, make sure you've waited at least 4 hours after connecting your account. If data is still missing, try logging out and back in. If the issue persists, reach out to support.

Billing

What plans does BookBidder offer?

BookBidder has two plans: Starter ($39/month) and Professional ($79/month). Both include Smart Rules, Ad Insights, and full dashboard access. The main difference is the number of ad groups supported. See Plans and Pricing for full details.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel from your account settings and your subscription ends at the close of your current billing period.

What happens when my trial ends?

You'll be prompted to choose a plan. If you don't subscribe, your account stays accessible but campaign syncing and automations will pause until you activate a plan.
